Printmaking Studio
Experiment. Layer. Reveal.
A hands-on summer camp where kids explore printmaking through unexpected materials, textures, layering, and experimentation.
✨ About the Camp
Printmaking can begin with LEGO, Sunlight, Foil, Yarn, Foam, Glue, Vegetables and found textures.
At Printmaking Studio, kids will spend the week experimenting with different ways of creating prints — exploring repetition, pressure, texture, transfer, and layering through a variety of printmaking processes.
Each day combines open-ended exploration with finished applications kids can actually use and take home.
What Kids Will Explore
Throughout the week, campers will experiment with:
Block Printing
LEGO & Lino Printing
Mono Printing
Texture Rubbing
Cyanotype (Sun Printing)
Resist Printing
Children will first experiment on paper, then apply their favorite ideas onto different surfaces and products.
Take-Home Creations
Campers will create:
Printed Sling bags
Posters & Stickers
Buntings, Gallery style Art pieces
DIY Printed Tape
Cyanotype Caps, Postcards and Clay Ornaments
Every child’s work will look different, with plenty of room for personal ideas and experimentation.
