REcreate Summer Camp

ReImagine. ReFine. ReBuild…and make it REally fun!

A hands-on summer camp where kids explore how to use recycled materials in new ways — through building, experimenting, and creating.

About the Camp

At Artsy Pants, we believe creativity grows when children are given the space to explore materials, test ideas, and build with intention.

In our ReCreate Camp, kids will work with cardboard, plastic, paper, and metal to create projects that are playful, expressive, and meaningful.

This is not about perfect outcomes — it’s about thinking differently, making thoughtfully, and creating with what we already have.

A Glimpse Into the Week

Each day, kids explore a different material — not just to make something, but to understand what it can do. Ecah day covers two activities, which balances between good structure and creative freedon.

  • Cardboard — Build & Express
Create expressive cardboard faces with moving parts and test it out with lip syncing to your favorite song, and explore balance through hands-on building.

  • Plastic — Design & Move
Build creations from bottles/milk cans or detergent packaging, and also create spinning sea creatures that come to life through motion.

  • Paper — Make & Transform
Learn to make confetti handmade paper, abstract paintings from leftover paper, experimenting with color and texture. They will bind this into their ‘My Idea Book’.

  • Metal — Sound & Story
Create simple instruments using metal materials and explore rhythm, sound, and playful composition.

  • Mixed Media — Transform & Create
Build wire-based sculptures and transform a recycled item from home into something entirely new.
